Sounds really powerful. Exhaust guy tried to fit the FlowMaster 50 series in there but said they were too long ... 23 inches overall ... ended up going with the 40 series which are 17 inches overall .. I promptly started tearing down the engine when I got it home to install the new cam and lifters ...
Thanks ... when he told me he wouldn't be able to run the pipes over the emergency brake cable I was a little concerned about the appearance. They are 2 1/4 inch pipes all the way and you cannot see them under the car unless you get on your hands and knees so it ended up working out OK. I know other people have had them run above the cable so I know it is possible ...
ditto i have 50s as well.. infact the 50's meant for suvs.. fit ok here too. my rule of thumb.. if someone says it can't be done.. get a second opinion but either way they look good.
my guy wanted to run both duals out the right side, said they would be to close to the fuel tank on the left, I went home and made a shield kinda like a motorcycle heat shield to go on the left side and he installed them, by the way your car is looking great!!!
Hey Dan where did you get the Delta Flow 50's mufflers from and how much were they? P.S if you dont mind my asking how much were the mufflers and job total?
I have bent more exhaust than I care to remember. The guy did a clean job. Sometimes guys get lazy and do the easiest thing. How much did you pay? If you do not mind posting. 2.25 pipes are fine for upto 300hp or so. Just remember that compression bent pipes are smaller diameter in the bends more like 2 inch, too big and you lose that low end torque. Super nice car and the Mach 1 tips look super sweet.
