    Yea i would be intrested in the track to, Never have been but if its a decent track might make the trip (i love road trips in the Maverick)

    oh i grew up ay baileyton. love the track. its a lil rough not gonna lie and it takes some balls to run alot of power there. but they is always a good showing. some 5 sec cars usually there. well everything went decent there. car is dead outta the hole due to not being tuned. think my carb is killing it and i know the time is off. ran a 8.40. trans started pouring out the front seal after the first pass so i had to load her up.

    anyone need a 750 holley. newly rebuilt. will trade for 650

    sounds about like bama. Doesn't your car run mid 7's when it works right

    yes it does. havent been able to get it tuned right. havin problems with this new carb

    Is this track a true 1/8 mile? I know some say they are but a lot of them are only 600 ft.

    oh yes. its a very old track. they have some very big and serious races there too

    didnt know there were so many maverick owners in alabama.
    we should all meet at an agreed upon track one nite and see how much hurt we can inflict on the bowties a test and tune and grudge race nite would be nice. chilton does it on friday nites, i think bama on saturday nites . would be kool anyways to see a bunch of mavs and meet you all.:thumbs2:

    sounds like a great idea to me. i run at steele alot. very nice 1/4 mile track.

    i live in Hartselle i used to go to bailyton alot My Uncle raced there for years until he moved to Kentucky ,i love that track but it is infested with chebbies.I had thought about taking my 6 year old up there soon to see whats going on .We have a 70 mav we are working on ....Oh ive seen Jet cars blast off at that track its rough but good track for door cars

    oh yeah the jet car runs a 4.30 at 170 on that track
