Hello from Cereal City, Battle Creek, MI. Recently found a 1 family 1974 4 door Maverick with just under 79k on the odometer. Posted a pic in the gallery. Minimal brake pedal wear leads me to believe it is on its first trip around the clock. V8, factory air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, automatic, red with black vinyl roof. Originally a Tennessee car, then sat for years in daughter's pole building in Indiana, and recently granddaughter sold to me. Yes, it is rusty underneath, but torque boxes appear solid. It has had a respray at some point. No apparent major body damage. Going in for new tires later this week. Next on the list is checking brakes and brake lines. Interior is cloth and worn or sun damaged, but average overall condition. I paid the asking price which was between $3,500 and $4,000,and think that was fair to both parties. Thanks for having me as part of the group!

BTW I'm a GM guy so I'll need help from you all. Last major work I did on a Ford was C4 rebuild in tech school, 1979. Worked in a Olds, Cadillac, Isuzu dealership in the '90s. Since then only as a hobby.

If it is a 1974.....it would not have POWER disc brakes. It would just be disc brakes. Welcome from the Hoosier State.
