http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2446392590&category=39405 looks like it might have some good parts, too bad i am in Maine
Dang I wish I was closer! Nothing like that EVER pops up in my neck of the woods. I need that front bumper. Oh well...... sniff..... it'll be okay..... I guess..... Country
Dang it. How come all the Mavs are in Southern California. The front bumper looks a little tweaked... -Corbin
Heck, pick a part junk yard will give him $150 for it and they will pick it up. If I had a place to put it I'd do it and let ya all get the parts you need. I'm only an hour away from it.
Judging from the pic, it is a 70-72 model. I couldn't tell if it is a 5 lug or 4, but I am guessing a 5 lug. I can't tell what engine he has. Guys, It is only 100 miles from where I live. I could pick it up, and have him deliver it, but it would have to be for parts, or to sell to someone else. If anyone has any suggestions, or can give me a good enough reason to pick it up, I'll bid on it.
Lets see, if I hook up the trailer and leave now.... Sorry guys I'll have to pass on that one. Just a little too far for me to do in a weekend. Russ
I am trying to get him to call me Sunday morning. If he does I will be going up to get it Tuesday. I need several parts that look to be in fair to good shape.
I emailed the guy through Ebay. The car is actually in Hinkley which is pretty near Barstow, which is just about a 2 hour drive from the Antelope Valley (1 hour north of Los Angeles). I offered him a good price for the bumper but he already got a better offer plus the bumper needs some work which I am not equipped or have the time or patience to do. Seems to me that it is quite a trip and for the money and the condition of the parts not really worth it. Just my 2 cents. Jeri*
I need the fuel tank, filler pipe, parts of the wiring and can always use spare interior and trim pieces. If the glass is good, that is a bonus. Would plan on picking up the car on a trailer, striping it on the way home.... Deliver the carcass to a friend for short term storage until I could harvest the rear quarters, frame rails and floor pans.
