    Hello,
I want to convert my comet to manual while he is disassembled and i will use a 164T bellhousing. I would like to know if i can use this bell with the stock manifold + exhaust. I dont want to install headers right now because i need to pass an inspection.

    Thank you

Yes, the stock exhaust should be fine. The outside dimensions of the bells are roughly the same size - the inside of the bell is changed and the depth but not the diameter. After all they use the same bolt pattern.
If you are going to a Lakewood or other aftermarket bell then you may have to bend the tubes slightly.

Like Paul said, Yep. I ran 2 1/4" dual exhaust with stock manifolds with a 164T bell and a 4-speed toploader; with power steering. :)
