Hello is 17x8 as wide as you can go on the front of the Maverick or can i use a 17x9 with the spec listed below? I know I have to use a pacer.

The 17x10.5 I know i can make them work for the rear.

The front wheels are 17x9 with a 5.95" backspace(+24mm offset) and the rear are 17x10.5 with a +27mm offset.

From my experience, what you are describing will not work without modifications on the rear. Also, on the front, I dont think those will work at all. Have I tried this combo on a car? No, all I am going with is what I had to measure and do to put 17's on my car. In my experience when you get to a 10" rear wheel, you have to modify the suspension, or at least work the wheelhouse.

I think the 9's on the front will stick out too far, as for the rear,...you can possibly make them fit, but it will take some work if your trying to keep the stock set up.

not saying it cant be done, but at what extent are you willing to make them fit well is the question. good luck
    and yes, I have 17's

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
jsut incase you did want to go with the 9 on the front even if your were to fit that 9 on the front you wouldn't find a tire to fit.

as far as the 10 i also say no way... even if you do i dont thinkyou won't find a tire that will fit either. wel l unless your into tires sticking out of your fender wels

I have the same wheels. 17x9 will hit the fender or if you pull the wheel in, it will hit the spendle. 5.95 mm is alot when you need 4.50 on an 8 inch wide wheel. that's a big spacer, more than 1 inch thick. I had to change to a longer wheel studs also. 17x10.5 will fit if you mini tube the car & move the leafs over. I have 17x9 with 255/45 with only .25 inches of clearance with the leaf. I still have to pull the reaf fender to get the tire to tuck. Maverick Man is right. it's not the rim, it's the tire on the rim.

The only way I got them to work was because there is a company in Mempis that can shave back spacing off or add material to make more back spacing. ARP has long racing studs too. You can use spacers but I don't like them. Makes the car handle very soft. The car feels like it jelly. Plus causes stress points on the suspension. The studs might break too. Just letting you know. Do it the right way the first time so you will be happy with the out come later.

They are called Mustang Bullitt Wheels. They are not Cobra wheels. This might help the search on the net. I hope this helps.
