Well, we got the holes lined up for the bezels first today, tomorrow we're going to cut out and line up for the buckets, then finalize everything. Lining those bad boys up with a PITA! The tail panel body lines aren't exactly perfectly straight lines, are they? I think the way we lined them up is going to look good in the end. We're also going to mock up the back end tomorrow and get a look at the big picture.
So thats the Chevy lights I keep hearing about.I could'nt figure out which year Chevy taillights you guys on the board were talking about.Looks real nice. Can't wait to see them when they are done.
As you can see, I'm kinda partial to them. I first put them on my sprint in the summer of 1976. The blue one is my 77 which I sold last summer.
Mavaholic, do you have a closeup of the outer corners of your tails? The way we decided to mount mine they're going to hang over the body line a fraction of an inch, it won't affect the watertightness and you won't be able to see it when the bumper is on, but I was just wondering.
Wouldn't be that hard to make 'em functional though, just cut some mav lights down and put them inboard maybe?
I was just responding to Dans rediculious statement with an equally rediculious statement. Gotta keep Dan guessing ya know. Anyway here is the pic you requested.
my bobcat tail lights work..check this...frank... "bobcat tail lights installed" ...under "bobcat" search.
Yes there is a very slight overhang but you really got to get close to see it. If you didnt point it out, nobody would notice. So dont tell anyone here, they cant keep a secret.
