1970 maverick 250 what?

    WELL I GOT A 1970 FORD MAVERICK 250CID WITH THE AUTOMATIC C4 TRANSMISSION,AND I WANTED SOME INFORMATION ON WHICH MANUAL STICK 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION I CAN USE ON MY INLINE 6 .I KNOW I WILL HAVE TO DRILL CUT BUT THATS OKAY.:drive:

    1966 Mustang, 1972, 73, 73 and 73 Mavericks
    You can use any transmission from a FSB car. If it comes in a 302 or 5.0 engine (other than the newest 5.0 that is a mod motor).
    The same bellhousing fits the 250 and the 302. You need a flywheel for the 250 due to the difference in balancing but the same clutches and transmissions will work fine.

    Thanks Paul,one two more questions,which kind of flywheel can I use since ima go for a t5?and what year would the transmission have to be?

    Get a standard or after-market flywheel for the 250 for a 10" clutch with 157 tooth ring gear.
