After doing some searching on the site, it seems (once again) that the 70 is a mythical unicorn when it comes to buying parts. I believe my switch on top of the column has gone out. I tried adjusting it today and still nothing. I was able to crank the car by turning on the key and jumping the solenoid.
Have the reproduced this switch anywhere or am I able to purchase one for the other years and just use my plug off the old one?
Hoping someone on here has dealt with this issue already.

how did you adjust the switch?
there is a line up hole in the switch to put a pin in before mounting it.
it's the red pin in this pic.

I loosened the 2 nuts and slid it back and forth? Is that not the correct way?

The '70 switch is UNIQUE, has a different connector than '71-up. Two of it's pins are larger than later units. Other than old stock, currently are unobtainium. If found you'll pay $$$ as it also fits '70 Torino, LTD & Thunderbird plus can be used in Mustang(same switch with longer wires).

I've never tried but I'd suspect the connector from '70 sw could be reused on a later switch. Possibly re-pen the later switch into the earlier connector but the large pins will have to be spliced. Assuming it works, best long term solution would be use later switch, with it's mating connector spliced into the '70.

If you'd like to try searching by part number... D0AZ-11572-B.

When I was having "issues" with mine I found the wire that energizes the solenoid at the connector on the right side of the column and used a momentary contact switch to 12 volts to crank. Eventually I pulled the switch, cleaned it up and reinstalled. Part of the problem was that the key cylinder didn't move the way it should because the 45 year old grease in it got hard and gummy. Disassembled, cleaned and lubed that, too. Been working good since then.
