...:Handshake sweet looking car... I would like to see some pics of the bottom of the car and info on...how it was done...
located in Ventura County @ Port Hueneme, I have had 5 mavericks thus far, one was just so that I could mock up the back half kit, I have a 72 sprint but it does not look like it anymore, had repainted (now blue) and interior re- done.
hey Corbin, with the 351, what headers did you use, I have put in a 351 (stock with stock manifolds) in a maverick before but want to run headers so that I can benefit from the swap. I did that for a friend that immediately after we got it together he pulled the motor and went back to his 6 cyl. I want to do a 408 and have already started gathering parts I plan to put on a supercharger or turbo so I need proper exhaust. worst case I am going to have to do a mustang 2 conversion so that the exhaust fits. thanks.
Frank, I put some pics up for you, I have other pics of when I started in my garage, pretty straight forward, then I moved lost my garage space and deployed so I had a friend do the sheet metal work for me, he re-did the frame in an effort to get a back seat in the car but it did not work as well as planned. (works great, just not room for back seat) we have since switched the diagional link to a wishbone, I like the diagional link better but wanted to try the wishbone style link. (works good, just not as tight it allows a little flexability/float in the rear of the car)
