Okay technically it started in 2013...time...money or lack there of got in the way. So even though I dinked around with it over the last couple of years...the work we have done in the last two weeks makes this my start time to me. We...my friend Bob, master car builder. I've never built a car from the ground up...though with my first 1972 I had a hand in things but had no idea what I was doing.

So...in 2013 I decided I was tired of my 1966 Pro Street Mustang. Why? Everyone freaking owns a Mustang. I loved my first Mav...My second Mav...and so that's what I wanted, to go back to the future so I bought this beauty for $500.

What am I going for? Big Block...Pro Street. BUT...that depends on God keeping me alive and probably more important... $$$$! Lets just say...this is a budget build with an awesome parts car for my pleasure.

So this was back in 2013.

BTW I am doing the big pics because the little icons are a pain and you don't always see (because you pass by) the best ones when you are scanning others builds or their cars.

Onward and upward...time to set a point for the rear and cut out the back of the car to make the bigger than small tires/rear end fit.

Thanks it's been a challenge (time/money) and it's kinda insane to tear down a perfectly fine pro-street Mustang to do a Maverick. But my friend gets it (he's built a Maverick, see next post) and for me...everyone freaking owns a Mustang. lol
