I just pulled my inline 200 6 cylinder out with the transmission. I have a 1978 302 motor that i want to put inside the car but i was wondering will the c4 that came out with the 6 bolt up or what kind of modifications do i need to make?

The 200 and the 302 require different bellhousings. The 6 cylinder c-4 is not as sturdy as one for a v8. It will work but probably not stand up to a lot of abuse. :)

The C4 used with 200 cu" has fewer clutches in each pack the added clutches in the V8 C4 increases the ability to hold torque by 25 - 50%. Using the weaker C4 behind the V8 will work but it will be problematic if you ever push it.
