Looks like gud progress. I have pretty much the same car. I believe some where along the life of the car someone put on the incorret stripe.
Are u keeping the AC? Did the car come w/ pwr steering? My car has both.

"mojo", yes it came with factory A/C and power steering. i took out the ac compressor tho, i can live with no ac, and it is less that the engine has to power. Im going to keep the AC unit still, just in case.

Looks like a good start to a nice project.

I used to do that when I was younger too. Now that I'm older, I have come to realize A/C is NOT an option! :D

I really wish I would have kept the A/C in a couple of vehicles I still have in from my younger days! Finding the parts to put it back in is becoming quite expensive.

Here's an idea for you, put everything back on and get it operational. Take the belt off the compressor when you want the power and put it back on when you know you're going to have a young lady in the car.

Women prefer to be comfortable and here's a little bit of life advice for you: The happier a woman is, the happier YOU are! (y)

Ask any married man and he'll tell you I'm not joking about that.

If you can, i would suggest running your wire harness up and over the top of the shock tower.
