1973 mustang center console

    I came across a center console off a 73 mustang. I'm wondering if my T-5 shifter will be a problem with the transmission opening on the center console. I'm thinking it should clear and not be a problem, but I thought I'd ask you guys before I go ahead and buy it.

    It doesn't look like you need much room for the T5 shifter to operate - is the shifter hole in the Mustang console going to wind up being in the same location as the T5 shifter?

    I think it should be in the same location. Here's a picture of a maverick with an AOD using the same console.

    That console looks awesome in that car. I don't really have a lot of money so I just built my own. I'll post pics soon
