1975 Comet restore

    We, I pulled the engine out an transmission. Cleaned the engine repainted . I have one question. The torque converter is orange. I have never seen one in a Ford product. Can anyone help me figure this one out. I would greatly appreciate it. IMAG0030.jpg

    I see it has a power steering cooler mounted on the driver's side frame rail. Cool.

    That's a rebuilt or aftermarket unit, Ford never painted converters...

    The more I take the car apart , the more questions I have. The Marti report gave me a lot of information. On my 74 maverick the right wheel would spin. This one the left spins an the right kicks in soon after. The car came with ac. But was removed before I purchased it.
