    Lots of potential. Needless to say get rid of that two bbl and install an aftermarket 4 bbl manifold and carb. Keep us posted.

    I'm thinking that the reason for the 2 bbl was to pass the California Emissions testing because to pass the visual test you had to have a carburetor of the type supplied by the manufacturer when new. No Maverick came from the factory with a 4 bbl carb. However, it's a moot point since 1975 and older models don't require emissions testing plus the car is now on the other side of the pond. LOL.

    I want to buy a Maverick on eBay also but I have a lot of doubts... anything that I can do besides flying across the country to make sure I am buying the real deal and not any surprises??
