    Hey guys,

I just purchased a '75 Maverick yesterday and am stoked! She's got a 250 straight 6, 76,000 miles and runs well. I'm contemplating swapping out the drum brakes for some discs. A/C took a crap but going into fall/winter (whatever that means in Miami) I'll stick through it. The only other thing is that it needs a new fuel sending unit. All in all I'm happy with its current condition and look forward to working on it.

Welcome, looks like you did very well on your purchase. You know you gotta fix the A/C...wish my 70 had A/C, never thought it would be hotter than a gnats butt in Washington.

You'll find this forum very informative and interesting.

BTW, Mercury Comets make good parts cars

Clean car. Will be great with disc brakes, small bumper conversion, and a V-8. Get to work! :D
