I have a 1976 Maverick Stallion that has sat for about 9 years. while it has sat the gas tank has rusted inside. I purchased a Kreem gas tank liner kit to try to clear it out but it does not seem to be clearing out the rust. Any ideas what I should do to get the job done, or does anybody have a tank available that I can purchase? It does have the larger tank that was available in 76 and 77 Thanks Jon
Jon I have a tank I would be willing to sell you. It came off of a 1976. Very clean inside, surface rust outside. Not sure what size it is but I will include the straps as well. Good fuel sender in it as well. Email me for details: cselvey@netdirect.net
