Hey everybody! Just wanted to introduce myself, since I'm I will probably using this forum ALOT in the future. I just bought my 1st car about 2 months ago, a '72 Maverick, 2 door, straight 6, for $300. We've already ripped out the carpet & installed custom bucket seats, painted and detailed the side panels, fixed her exhaust leak & done a few other small repairs. Unfortunely, upon removing the carpet we discovered that the back floors pans are almost completely rusted through. Other than that, it's in pretty good shape. Parts here and there need to be dealt with but nothing too serious, other than the floor pans. So, yeah, that's my car. NEway, just wanted to say hi! Thanx! Gracie

Hi Gracie, Welcome to the board. Lots of friendly people here. Any questions you might have about your Maverick, this is the place to get the answer. Someone has been there done that. Why don't you make it to our Club Mini Meet the end of this month in Renton, at Cedar River Park (Renton River Days)? Should have a good showing of Maverick/Comets. I have posted when & where our Mini Meets are on this message board. Hope to meet you soon. Don't forget to post pictures. We love pictures.
