2 tone dash!!!

Have had this on my mind for a while and i found the paint for it. Where the chrome piece is on the dash to the dash cover, i plan on painting it a metallic silver. The rest will be black.


I plan on putting 4 aftermarket gauges right after the a/c vent too. What does everyone think of this?

 

Two tone is nice, Ive seen it done before. Ive also seen the gauges in that spot, i didnt like it. But its your car, so do what you like!

 

I have a feeling i wont like the gauges in that spot eather, guess we will have to wait and see.

 

cut out circles of cardboard the size of the gages and tape them where you think you want them. that will give you a good idea of how it will look. also is your car running again?

 

Already have a template and ill post pictures when i get further along. Will be running shortly with a 6 cylinder for now.

 

Don't put the gauges in the A/C vent hole, they are round, and the hole is square!! Have some taste!!

Wud like to see the dual tone dash. Not so sure abt the gauges - I wud have to see them B4 I cud say.

 

All Grabber had 2 tone dashes, unless they had Black interior.
