I would have to agree with you. Looks somewhat similar to a Mustang II set up

What is the difference in frame width between the Crown Vic and the Maverick?

Maverick is 31" o.d. from frame rail and Crown Vic is 34" o.d. from side to side

The whole setup was $500 from a junkyard I found online. You could probably find a cheaper. Having it here in front of me i can tell it is beefy and it's no wonder why they put it on truck frames.

What is the difference from the face of the rotors where the wheels bolt? I'm going to say your track will be to wide unless you can shorten the cradle but then the rack and sway bar will still be too wide.

I am a believer in anything can fit in anything with a certain amount of work :D

It's crazy.... but it's about a total of 8 inches. And i can't cut the cross member due to rack and pinion and the motor mounts. But with the right rims and flaring she'll fit. Then I'd match the rear.

I have seen, somewhere on the net, where a guy narrowed a Crown Vic front end to fit whatever car it was going in....maybe on pro touring?

Interesting. I'll look into that. I still like the idea of flared fenders. Thanks

Worst thing about those is the wheel backspacing, factory it's something like 6.5", maybe more... Any possibility of narrowing the assembly and then using shorter tie rods???

I'm going to look into that. If i did I'd cut in 2 places, right pass the rack & pinion .
