dont think your gong to find any fans on that around here, not to mention the excessive stress its going to put on your suspension and make it handle, brake and accelerate like crap

i guess if i went with big rims i'd have to drop it down, not lift it

but if i wanted a lowrider it wouldnt be a small uni-body ford. i'd get a big boat since they look better as lowriders and the full frame construction can probably take the stress better

Why don't you sell those 22" and get some 15"s or 17"s.

You can get 17" slot mags from American Racing, they're so light and shiny. And look badass too!

And don't T.L. my uber purple window tint (I already took it off).

Yes 22's look nice on some cars but not made for all cars. My opinion all these cars look great except for the 4 door. But the 4 door is a nice car, sharp dog in picture. The handling is ****ty and it puts a lot of strain on the tranny not made to drive daily. My car with 20's i might drive 3-5 times a month.

I don't like large wheels to begin with, but they look even worse on classic cars. Absolutely horrible. Don't do it.

Harold, had a car in his shop this week for a motor replacement...it had..."26s" on it. the guy came yesterday to pick it up and the transmission wouldn't pull off. :yup:
this is 1 of about 6-7 he has worked on here lately. if you want to see something scary...look how they jack them up. this one is sitting on ...
    4" fence post...
some come by for him to take his...sawall and cut the fenderwells out so the car can turn without cutting the tires..:D he cut one with 22s then the kid came back with 24s...cut some more...yesterday he came back with 26s for more cutting...:D

    from what i see...
they buy the rims they want and cut the car to fit...:thumbs2:

    ......

Gawd no! I think the trend has gone too far, even from the factory. Cars look like hotwheels now. 17 is more than enough for most passenger cars. I'd only go bigger on an SUV or truck. I'll more than likely put 15s on mine, maybe 16s if I can get a good deal.
