I've got the original 250 in my 70 Maverick. It burns a quart of oil every 2 weeks, feels tired. It needs a rebuild. I'm looking to restore this thing to a pretty hefty street machine. I was thinking of dropping a reman 302 in there, or having the 250 rebuilt. I'd like get more power out of it. I've found cams, headers, etc. But I'd like to buy a kit to make sure everything would work well together since it's a 6. Any suggestions?
