My maverick is getting a 351w with 10-1 compression, c9 heads and a .500 or so lift cam. It will have a 3000 stall. I will race it 1/8 mile. Right now it has a 8 inch with 4.62 gears. My dad has a 9 inch under the mustang with 3.73. Do you think my car would be faster 1/8 mile with 3.73 or 4.62 gears

with the old junky stock 302 it will roast the tires. I can't wait to see what the 351w will do

It will have 26x10 et drags so traction shouldn't be a problem. I stock 351w pulled all the way through with these gears so a built one ought to be able to do it easily

we took the rear in the mustang apart and it had 4.56 gears so there isn't any real difference.
