    just thought of something.....
wonder if there is away (and I am sure there is) to archive the list from year to year that way we could go back and see who improved over the following year.
Cause I know I picked up over 1.2 seconds over one winter a couple years ago.
    ***Just bored on 3rd shift.

Just to put into perspective, care to take a minute and tell the fans what it took to shave 1.2 seconds off your e.t.?

It also matters if you are just racing it. In my case, I'm toward the bottom of the list, but mine was built to drive on the street. When I get the itch, I go to the strip & go fast. Which in my case is fine with me. I would like to go faster don't get me wrong, just like the idea of driving it as a daily driver if I want to. My overall goal is to get into the 13's & still be streetable. I know that someone will always be faster. I'll settle for just fast (respectable) for a street car.

New motor, coil-over/ladder bars a couple winters ago.
If interested or already seen it I posted the motor specs in this forum under Rick Porters post of "Wake-up".

All of the computer programs:rolleyes: and performance calculators:rolleyes: (whatever they may be good for?) all come up with basically the same result.....right at 600 ponies + or - ,depending which program, at the flexplate. I have never had it on a dyno.

    Very possible...
My car will run in the 12s like it sat...(in the 1000')
Im putting in a bigger converter, bigger cam, better carb and manifold
Should run in the lower 11's in the 1000' or around 12.5 in the 1/4
I dont know about driving it out of town w/ the gears thats in it... but it will be driven on the streets around the surrounding cities.

The farthest i've drove mine with the current setup was from Asheville NC to Bristol TN, that was a very LOUD ride and my head hurt for the rest of the day!!:D

There's no telling how far i'll drive it with new gears, i'm currently working on a 3.89 gear set for the rear which should allow for alot longer trips!!

I don't know about 1.2...but I can tell ya 1.6 took an ass of money...just look at the specs in the Wake Up thread.
