351 in a comet?

HI, I´m new hare, I need to KNow , if I can put a 351W In a comet 1972, please I need your help, Thanks

 

What kind of engine do you currently have?

 

a 302

 

You should have no problem putting a Windsor in. It is real similar to a 302

 

sombody toll me, the 351w is a little bit wide, and the shock towers are very close, I have a hooker competition headers

 

There shouldn't be a whole bunch of clearance issues. I'm pretty sure some of the other members here have Windsors.

a 351w will bolt up and fit but with the shock towers it makes plug changes a pain thats why i would say to notch the towers your hooker competition headers wont fit with out mods but when its all said and done you will love it

very nice, is a very good idea, do you have de exactly measurements of that, it will be helpfuly, nice engine, it´s your car?
