I don't think that they do, but do the bolt holes in a stock '69 351W crank go through the crank into the crankcase/oiling circuit? Some small block Fords do, but I need to know if I need to seal the threads of my flexplate bolts so I don't have oil leaks. Does anyone know for sure? I see lots of conflicting info online.

    Thanks!

They go into the sump - they need to be sealed with blue loc-tite or Loc-tite #518
