351w question

    1973 comet, 1977 4 door mav(dead), 1964 falcon 4 door wagon, 1936 studebaker dictator
    will the stock exhaust manifolds, on a stock 351w, fit in my engine compartment or do i have to use the 302 manifolds. i would really like to use the 351w manifolds because they are bigger and should have better flow.

    if i remember right, my experience is that if you use the 302 manifolds on the 351 they will stick out to far. i believe the 351 manifolds are closer to the block. someone can correct me if i'm wrong again.:)

    I don't know. Same head dimensions, I would have guessed that they are the
    same for both.

    the difference is not the heads but the rest of the block. the 351w is a wider block than the 302.:)
