    393 w, brodix heads ,probe pistons, h beam rods, custom flat tappet cam. anyone know how I can post vid of motor on the breakin stand , it sounds very healthy:drive:

    Should be pretty stout,good traction bars,slicks,beefed up trans and rear w/ low gears it`s a 10sec 1/4 mi car easy.I`ve decided to go 393 also with my build,I believe w/ 6.2 rods and 1.325 comp. height pistons it will live longer than a 408,and very small diff. in power.Don`t rev the mtr. over 7000 rpm and it will live a long time,good luck at the track.:yup:

    we are too but still got some more work on the mav to do.

    thank you dan . hope your build goes well also. don't know what ours will run, as the set up on car is as important as the motor, but we have a pretty good feeling on this also,

    thanks sohc. no idea as it hasn't been on a dyno. but it has some good parts and should be healthy. it will be a while before we finish car but are working to that end. thanks to all for their comments
