Has anyone tried to (or successfully) installed a 4.6L DOHC Mod Motor in a Maverick? I'm starting to look into it and just wondering if anyone out there has tried it.
Yes. Do a search and you`ll find it. To sum it up you need an aftermarket suspension to use this engine. If you didnt more of us would be running one.

Yeah usually you dont get many results with numbers. Also try cobra or mark 8. They were the cars that came with the 4.6 DOHC engines. The car i was talking about is a blue one with a cobra engine.
Other than to cool factor, putting a 4.6 in a Maverick or Comet, is more work that it's worth. You can make just as much power with a windsor base small block, that weights less, and parts the are cheaper.
