that looks like it will only bolt on to 3 of the 4 lugs. seems like a step backwards.

I think it would be easier and safer to:

Find a set of 4-lug wheels.

    Convert the car to 5-lugs.

    I would pass on those.

Look em up on ebay. It shares 1 hole with the factory lug. And it comes with a long stud to go through both plates. It will still be mounted down with all 4 lugs

Figure I'd give em a whirl. Cheap enough. And I'll put em on when I get some 15 5 lugs. Then later on when I find all the parts I might go to disks and pass the spacers on to the next comet fan

I used wheel adapters on my first Maverick for a couple of years until I upgraded to five lug hubs. Had to have cool wheels/tires! Install them properly making sure they're torqued correctly, check them frequently and you should be fine.

I just mainly want to see if I like the 15 inch rims on it and how everything sits and rides before I dish out all the time and effort to convert it just to not like it. To me this seemed to be the easiest cost efficient way to go 5 lug.

I seen the adapters online and thought that it be quick to do while I look for a disk convert for the front and most I'm seeing is 5 lug. And I want to be able to rotate my tires in the future

installing that long stud in the rear axles will be fun. most likely the axles will have to be pulled. still less work that swapping the whole rear end. then if you get 15" wheels the back spacing will be for with the spacers. if you get rid of them and do a 5 lug conversion the wheels will have the wrong back spacing.

Why not look at wheels from a Fox body Mustang, plenty of options there for four lug. You might even get a decent looking set for the price of the adapters.
