    40 years ago today I was seven years old helping my mom work in the yard when my grandfather pulled up and made us stop what were doing and brought us to the Ford dealer to purchase a new car. He had a blue four door Maverick picked out but my mom was afraid of my sister and I opening the door going down the road. I ended up picking out a medium yellow gold two door Maverick (The Mav) which is still sitting in my garage today. Happy Birthday The Mav!!
