:bananamanHello all I have looked around at some diffrent post and I have found out alot about putting a 5-speed in my 70 Maverick but I have not seen anything about what everyone is using for the pedals should I use the ones from another Maverick or the Mustang I am robbing the trans from? I have a set of pedals from a 66 Mustang with the Z bar and everything just want to clear this up before I start on my 70 project I would like to have all the stuff I need before hand thanks all any info is great.:tiphat:

I used the original Mav pedals with 66 Mustang linkage. The Mustang linkage is cheap and can be bought at any Mustang supply house.

All of the 66 parts I have are the 200 I 6 with the three speed on the floor are they the same as what I would need for the T-5 or do they hae to be for a V8 car?

If you're using the original bellhousing with a T5 adaptor plate and staying with the 6-cylinder you use the 6-cylinder linkage parts.
