My cousin's 71 Mav project...

    My Cousin Junior bought this 71 mav in Connecticut back in late December for 1400.00 Dollars I believe, anyhow this car was equipped with a 6cyl 250 auto column shifter,power steering (no leaks) vinyl roof top, bucket seats very nice interior dash pad is perfect! here's some pics!

    The body was in fair condition for a New England car the right side being the worse, as the weather started to get warmer Junior started working on the car.

    Some one had made a hole on the floor for a floor shifter before.

    Yellow for color (I will post pics soon) he's keeping the black vinyl top, He's going Brazilian GT style with the black stripes and all.
    For motor he's going with a 5.0 out of a 94 Mustang Cobra keeping it electronic fuel injected with it's t5 transmission also using the 8.8 rear end out of the same mustang.

    So, Yesterday I paid him a visit: and this is how it is today:

    The rear end from the mustang is already in place but not welded.

    He installed this Booster from a Geo Metro Idea stolen from here!:cool:

    Front suspension is all new except some of the power steering components.

    The fuel pump from the mustang fits nice on the hole where the evap plug was on the top of the mav's tank.
