   The 7.5 yoke is shorter than the 8" which should work, otherwise I will have to shorten the driveshaft.
   
   Will the 8" rear accept the 7.5" yoke?

   1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor

   If pinion shaft dia is the same as an 8" and the bearings fit from an 8" I would say try it,but I dont think they are.I am pretty sure the 7.5 utilizes smaller bearings on the pinion.Good luck.
