7.5in rearend to an 8in swap

I want to swap the 8in from my '75 into my '70 which is a 7.5in. Is it just a direct swap? Any tips would be great because I've never swapped rears before

 

shouldnt be any problems, im not sure on shock locations...im not sure if the 70 has stagerd shocks or not

i did my rear by myself, and its not even from a maverick

 

It should be a straight forward swap.

 

shock mounts are on the spring plates. If you use the plates from the 70, you should be a o k. (I think)
