71-72 parts?

    Do the body parts from a 71 change out with a 72? doors mainly. I found a 71 on craigs list and the body has some good parts on it. I own a 72 and the doors look close, but, I don't know what all will switch out and what doesn't. It also has some nice bumpers on it too.:huh:

    1972 maverick 2 door LDO
    The standard/grabber doors do interchange, but the LDO(luxury decor option) doors are different, they look like the 73 and up doors and have the side impact beam in them as do the later doors.
    All model years will mount up the same way it is just the interior door release handles and the armrests that are the biggest differences between the two styles.

    As for the rest of the body parts yes they interchange exactly.

    Thanx for the reply. The guy had a grappler hood, looked to be in good condition, and he sold it for 250...

    Sure enough! "Grapplers"..... Guess I had to many fingers going trying to type......
