Its been 1 year and a month since I began the restoration. Finally reached the fun part of it all, assembly. Hope to have it on the road in the next few weeks.

    Thanks,

The nice part about this car are all the details you cant see. You wont find a part made by autokrafters that I didnt buy for this comet. All new door handles inside and out, locks, latch assemblys, posts, hinges, if its reproduced this car got it. What they didnt have I bought NOS off ebay. This is going to be my last restoration for a long time so I wanted to do it perfect.

Looking very nice. It's nice to be able to stand back and see the product of your hardwork sitting right in front of you. Can't wait to see the final shots of the car all assembled. - Matt

You have done a fantastic job on the GT. Can't wait to see it in person sometime in the future. Isn't it great when a plan comes together!!

    Thanks,

The color is an original comet color for 1971, but the car was originally white. However I stripped 100% of everything down to bare metal so no white was left, even under the headliner, floors, wheel wells, behind the dash, behind the rear seat, were all stripped to metal, and resprayed green, so its a total color change.
