Recently my uncle came across a grabber out in Sonoma,CA.He gave me the number for it and I called the guy up.We started talking about the Mav.

Apparently the car has a 250 straight 6,but has v8 suspension and transmission straight from the factory.I found that to be interesting. The owner has documentation to prove it.I'm not to sure on it.I lack alot of knowledge but I'd like to know if this is could be true.

V-8 suspension and transmission? You mean a C-4? The C-4 250 bellhousing will bolt onto a 302 and is the same transmission. If you're talking about the heavier suspension options (like a bigger anti-sway bar and 4-leaf springs), those were optional regardless of whether it was a V8 or not.

    Welcome to the boards. :Welcome:

Perhaps they are referring to 5 lug axles/hubs?

I'd like to see it, next he'll say it had a Boss 302 in it at one time.

I am somewhat close to Sonoma, so if you need some one to check on the condition, etc, I may be able to get down there sometime. Also, if you pass I may be interested to check it out myself. Welcome to the board!
