I've tried to find a few good pic's, but I can't tell what the difference between a 71 Grabber hood paint and a 72, Is it just the stripe down the middle? Are the edges the same? I bought the stencil for a 71 to use on my 73, but I'm not sure I like it.
1971 was a painted stripe. It was solid in the center with a surrounding 1/4 stripe. 1972 was a decal. Two stripes in the center surrounded by a 1/4 pin stripe.
Thats the same picture I found, I ordered the hood stencil for a 71, so I guess it's all white for me.
When I had my Grabber painted the bodyshop just made their own stencil by eyeballing a picture they took of the original stripe.
I talked to my body guy tonight, he thinks they shouldn't be too bad, but asked if I had a decent picture. I'll have to look in the brochure.

No problem ... I also just noticed my stripe doesn't go up far enough on the snorkels compared to the original ....
