Found this 72 out in the Antelope Valley desert. It was a one owner, parked in the dirt 8 years ago. 2-door, 250 I6, bench seats, air conditioning, overload springs in the back. Apparently the guys grandma took it to the bowling alley and back once a week since she bought it in 72. Gave him $200 and the promise to get it out of there that night. One tire took air, the rest practical fell off when we winched it out of the dirt. Oil was clean, antifreeze was green, brakes looked brand new but the wheel cylinders were all rotted. Put on some new shoes and the project begins...
for $200 looks like a steal. I seem to remember a post about this same car have you posted about it before?
Yup, was in the welcome section. Decided to make a project post since I finally have some time to get it running. Tuneup parts an fluids going in this week, waiting on an alternator then hopefully it comes alive.
