Well, somebody told me about a Sprint in a local U-Pull-It Salvage yard so I had to go see for myself since I now own one. It was there and I gotta go back with some tools. Some of the items I will be going after will include: clutch pedal setup, a/c setup, tail lights, qtr extensions, qtr glasses and rear glass with no scratches, blue arm rest bases, and I'm sure I'll find a few more pieces before I'm gone. I went ahead and picked up all 4 original Sprint center caps, a headlamp door, and a decent hoodlip molding for $16.00 yesterday. All of the drivetrain is still in the car but it is a 6 cyl, standard, with column shift.
Dennis, I will try to pry open the drivers door so I can get the numbers for your registry along with the numbers on my car. Here's a few pics:

Wow ... nice find ... too bad for the Sprint though ...

    Great find
What a shame. Looks like someone used a chain to roll it up on it's side.
Might as well grab the one sport mirror and passenger base and gaskets. How's the wiring?

Looks like the original seats (from what little I can see). With the windows down, I wouldn't be surprised if they're goners.

    Sad sight. :(

Wow, thats sad to see a Sprint like that. What condition is that back bumper in laying behind it? Looks like the front fenders are decent. I'll bet the wireing is junk if it got flooded with everything else around there...

Yeah, I'll get the mirror but the wiring has been pretty much butchered.

The front fenders are decent so I may try to get them too. The back bumper has some pretty big rust holes in it...not even good for a core. Fortunately the car didn't get flooded.
The original seats are still there and could possibly be saved with new covers. I don't need them so I'll probably leave them there.

Wow, Poor Sprint!! If you have a camera, get a picture of the door data plate too. If not, please get all the information off of it. Also any options that you can see. Looks like factory air was the only one going by the pictures.

    Thanks.

Oh Ray. I also need the name and address of the yard it is in, if possible. Sorry to be such a pain.

I tried real hard to get the door open but didn't have a pry bar. I'll go back a little better prepared because it'll make it a lot easier to get that clutch pedal assy out if I can get her open. Yes, it appears that air might have been the only option.

Stefan, I probably should have called it a hub cap. It's the dog dish style Ford cap, only with a blue stripe instead of the black stripe. I think all of the Sprints came with these from the factory.
