Could anyone supply me with some dimensions for a 73 - 74 Comet GT side stripe placement? I currently have new side stripes, but I was wondering, How far is the stripe from the front edge of the fender? How far is the stripe down from the top edge of the fender? How far is the rear edge of the stripe from the rear edge of the quarter panel before the quarter extension?
The door stripe has a cutout for the lock cylinder, so it does not have much movement in the placement. Once you temp hang the door stripe, in order to align the trailing edge of the front fender stripe, you will see that it follows the fender contour. Kind of the same deal on the rear stripe. My rear stripe ends 1/8 inch from the end of the fender.
