Does anyone have a '73 with the white with orange stripe paint and orange interior or know what it should look like? My car was repainted black, inside and out, and I am trying to get it back to the original color.:( I found very few spots under the paint where orange is present like the core support and inside the doors. Any help is appreciated.

I don't have one but I LOVE that color combo. I've only seen one in person and that was at a salvage. The design is no different than any other '73 Grabber.

Thanks for the reply. What about under the hood? Is the only orange part the core support or is there more? Also is the headliner orange? I bought a brochure and they don't show the engine bay or any interior above shoulder height. Thanks again

My Dad had a 74 white/orange combo Maverick . The seats, headliner, dash and carpet was orange. Don't remember under the hood (wasn't allowed under there, I was only 10).

Most of the time on these cars the whole engine compartment is the color of the car. Also, the interior was mostly orange I believe. Occasionally you'll see some black mixed in there.

Thanks, now I have some more to work with. Guess I am going to have to get headliner, carpet, and seat covers made. Thanks again for the help.

some one has a picture of just such a car that visited the 2005 roundup in the afternoon and was parked on the street beside the show field, not sure of the interior but the white and orange paint was there.

I remember that car, but it was a '72 right? I don't remember it having Orange interior. Wayne I think you're having trouble remembering - probably because of what happened the night before! :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:...or maybe its me that can't remember because of what happened the night before. :D

These are the only pics of the rusty orange and white V8 Graber that I owned about 20 years ago. There was no orange under the hood and I believe that the entire interior was orange, but I think the carpet and seatbelts were black.

My 74 has Orange seats, door panels and headliner, the carpet is black, the seatbelts are black, the kick panels are black and the top of the dash is black. I can try and scan some pic's (it's been awhile since I've used a scanner), no orange under the hood, but some on the sides and the tailight pael is orange, the rear wheel wells had orange overspray when I cleaned them. Looks alot like the 73 pictured above.

    Orange ?'s

Whatever the base color is on top of the fenders is what should be under the hood, radiator support, shock towers etc. for a '73.

The first pic is a red/white car. That scheme would be red under the hood. It came with orange/white as well.
