I need to know the differences in the frame rail torque box from year to year.
70-72 & 74-77 Where does a 73 fit in? Is the front torque box the same in a 2 door and 4 door? What about the front floor pans 2 door and 4 door?

Rails/Tq boxes are the same all years. The difference is the bolt hole locations for the bumper mounts.
    Small bumpers had one pattern.
73 had a pattern all its own
74 and up had different bumpers with shock absorbers on em.(there may be a slight difference in the rail to accommodate the shock absorber)
floor pans are the same in front for 2 and 4 doors.Rear pan is different on 4 doors.
Pans got a hump in 75 to allow room for the catalytic converter on the passenger side front foot well/under seat area.
Torque boxes are the same all years.
