Finally getting ready to paint my 73 2 door but don't have any idea what color. Right now the car has a stock med brown(5H) with black vinyl and the interior beige. But I'm looking for a more exciting stock color that would go with my beige interior. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not too many colors go with a beige themed interior. Black goes with ANYTHING. Blue interiors only seem to go with blue, white, or silver.

For beige I would suggest: Gold, White, Black, Red, yellow, certain shades of green...just to name a few.

Stay away from blues and silvers in my opinion.

Dark blue or maroon with a beige/tan interior have always been popular and rich-looking combinations since the 30's through present-day. Beige, light grey, & charcoal are about all that is offered in new car interiors anymore. Ride around and check out some new car lots and see what looks good to you.
