Well most of the hard work is finishing up after 3 years on my MAV . Now I'm putting the the odds and ends back together . And I'm finding my memory saddly lacking. I have a whole box of various side markers and all of them seem too small for the rear . The largest just cover the opening and fall in quite easily . Does the 73 have larger side marker? Or am I missing some trim I'm not aware of . Any input will help Thanks

They are all the same for all the years, size wise.

The only difference came in 75 and up, when they went to an argent color instead of the chrome. As Dennis said, all years will interchange in size.

The rears are bigger than the front. If you look on the backside, they will be marked RH TOP and LH TOP.

For the rears, the part ID number molded onto them is:

D0DB-15A467-C - this is the LH side and has a service part number of D0DZ-15A440-M

D0DB-15A466-C - this is the RH side and has a service part number of D0DZ-15A440-L

This should help you look through the box of parts and find the right ones.

    Thanks

Thanks for the info . I'll take a closer look at the box of extras I have . Maybe all I grabbed were front ones by accident I worked on the car all day yesterday. I may have had a lack of attention moment
