74' Grabber

Hey what's going on everybody, glad to be a new member. I've been hunting for a Maverick to restore for a while and finally found one. It's a 74' grabber. I haven't seen one like it before. It's red with white stripes.

 

Howdy and . Can say that I've ever seen one like that either. Do you think its factory?

 

It looks to be factory. The paint is pretty faded.

 

Here yah go ... unfortunately it's got one foot in the grave and about to be put out of it's misery ...

 

Exactly the same paint, it's sad to see it's twin like that.

 

Looks like somebody salvaged the sport mirrors ... but left the Sport wheels ...

 

Yeah, there is a lot of good parts left on there. Probably some I could use.

 

OK, its not red, its orange.

 

Yeah, it's so faded it's hard to tell.

 

a guy at my school has the same paint style-and his also has a white top,does yours?

 

It looks like it did at one time. I wonder if there are any pictures on the internet of what it looked like, when it came out of the factory?

 

never seen a pic of that paint scheme on the internet-the guys mavs has the original paint and everything and it looks good-i'll try to get a pic


I think that is like one of the best paint scheme's for a mav

There was one like that,, I think roundup 04,, but might have been a 75.
