Hey everyone, Good to be here. I just bought a 75 coupe with a 250 3 speed manual. For the price it's in good shape, some rust here and there but nothing major. It drove a little bit before I trailered it back home. Wasn't bad until the clutch pedal went straight to the floor and the ol'girl got stuck in first. Took out the drive shaft and pushed her up the trailer. Got the shifter finally working again but that clutch pedal just shoots the floor now. I think it's the clutch pedal spring. We'll see. Anyway it's good to be here. I'm in the north west part of Florida by the way. Also I'm looking for a front bumper. thanks, - Coupe
Congrats... When clutch pedal "shoots" to floor usually the linkage is broken/disconnected. The spring's sole purpose in life is to assist movement of clutch pedal. Unless clutch action is lost, never will spring be able to put pedal to floor.
