I used a 9569S on my 5-lug axle... Had to settle for a National seal, as I couldn't find a Timken set locally, after Rock Auto listed the wrong ones for both 4-lug and 5-lug. Neither the 9161 nor the 3214 seals fit my application, even though they were both listed on Rock Auto and Timken. I would take your old seal out and get the number off that, or take it with you to match up at the parts store.

1970 Mavericks actually came with a 7.25" rear, so I assume yours has been swapped out, and if it's been swapped out, I also assume it has been swapped out with a 5-lug 8". The 4-lug and 5-lug take different seals, as both the ID and OD are different.

More than likely it is your brake cylinder leaking...so check that.
